Hiking Tours Zell am See-Kaprun

Get out and about on tours and experience our most beautiful hiking routes in Zell am See-Kaprun

Where do you want to go today? To the gentle slopes of the Pinzgau Grass Hills or the jagged rocks of the Hohe Tauern? Does our hiking tour lead to the area of the eternal ice or do we enjoy the view from afar? The decision is yours: Hiking tours and routes in the Hohe Tauern are exciting, challenging and amazing. Just as wonderful are the views to the Tauern. These are served on a silver platter on a hiking tour in the Pinzgau Grass Hills. The selection is huge and it is not easy to keep track of all the tours. But with the right information and by becoming familiar with the most beautiful hiking tours in Zell am See-Kaprun, you will easily find your way around.

On the sunny side ...

You surely have seen the region's local mountains already. So, how about a hiking tour to the Schwalbenwand, the Schönwieskopf and the Hundstein? A mountain railway is not available here but you can take the car to the Mitterberg or the Enzianhütte. What follows is a hard to beat view and natural beauty. The hiking trails are easy, not too steep in most cases and lead you to stunning viewpoints. A cosy place for a break can be found on the Schützingalm or, if you climb up to the Hundstein, at the Statzerhaus right at the top. Having returned to the valley, Lake Zell is waiting to refresh your tired feet.

Even more tours on the Schmitten and the Kitz

The diversity of the Zell am See-Kaprun hiking region really comes to light when hiking on the Schmittenhöhe or in the Kitzsteinhorns area. Take the designer gondola - free of charge with the Summer Card - to the Schmittenhöhe and hike on beautiful trails along the Pinzgau Walk or to the summit of the Maurerkogel. Although this trail is called "walk", you can carry on hiking until it no longer feels like a walk. The mountain railway takes you to the Maiskogel or the Alpincenter at the Kitzsteinhorn. From there you hike on the Alexander Enzinger Trail or even dare to conquer the summit at the Kitzsteinhorn. You reach the Mooserboden Reservoir and can continue in direction Kaprun Törl by taking the Hochkammerer Trail
