Experience canyoning in Austria
As with rafting, canyoning is all about the fascination of water: except that the tour runs through gorges down the valley, over waterfalls and rocks. You can book your canyoning tour in the Almbach Gorge near Hallein in Zell am See-Kaprun: Together with qualified canyoning guides, you set off into the 1.2-kilometre-long gorge. At the start, some easy climbing, swimming and jumping passages await, before the gorge becomes narrower and narrower and you can choose between jumping and abseiling.

Thanks to the excellent thermal conditions, the Schmittenhöhe is a favourite launch site and meeting point for paragliding. From here you can start your tandem paragliding flight with an experienced pilot and soar high above Zell am See-Kaprun. Skydiving above Lake Zell

You ascend in a transport plane, before the hatch opens in the air and you drop into the depths - safely hooked up to a professional skydiver. During this jump, you reach a speed of up to 200 km/h, before the main parachute finally opens and you have time to admire the unique scenery all around.
