Ski buses Free travel & switch to electric mobility

A dense network of ski bus stops spans the entire Zell am See-Kaprun region: the ski buses reliably take you from your accommodation directly to the access points of the ski areas Schmittenhöhe, Kitzsteinhorn and the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn.

Free ride to the ski area

From the end of October to the beginning of May, the ski buses are in operation every day, and it is also possible to travel to the ski area by Pinzgau local railway. The rides on the ski buses are included in your ski pass - the Ski ALPIN CARD. You can find more detailed information about usage here on the ski bus timetable page.

Switch to e-ski buses

Step by step, the region's ski buses are now being converted to electric drive: The Kaprun village bus D has already been on the road as an e-ski bus in the 2021/22 winter season, and more will follow in the future. The basis for the e-ski buses is being established by Postbus and charging infrastructure, replacement buses and spare parts are being provided. The goal is to operate all bus services in Zell am See-Kaprun electrically.
