EHC Red Bull München Cooperation
The cooperation between the German top ice hockey club Red Bull München from Munich and the Zell am See-Kaprun region has been in place since winter 2022/23. In addition, we will welcome teams and fans of the international invitational tournament "Red Bulls Salute" to the ice rink in Zell am See in August 2024 again.
Red Bull Ice Hockey Club
Founded in 1998, the club managed to rise from the lowest to the highest German division, the German Ice Hockey League, in just twelve years. On 1 May 2013, Red Bull became the sole shareholder, and the club has operated under the name EHC Red Bull München since then. The 2015/16 season marked the most successful era in the club's eventful history to date: the team celebrated winning its first German championship on 22 April 2016. The Red Bulls also won the title in 2017 and 2018 and most recently in the 2022/23 season. In 2019, Red Bull München became the first and, so far, only German team to reach the final of the Champions League. The club is scheduled to move from the venerable Olympia Stadium to the new SAP Garden, which will also be home to the club's offices in the future, in spring 2024.

Red Bulls Salute
Save the Date: 24 & 25 August 2024
At the international invitation tournament "Red Bulls Salute" organized by EHC Red Bull München and EC Red Bull Salzburg, all ice hockey fans can look forward to four top teams from different top European leagues. In 2023, the four-time German champions EHC Red Bull München and the ten-time Austrian champions EC Red Bull Salzburg were joined by nine-time Swiss champions ZSC Lions from Zurich and seven-time national champions IFK Helsinki from Finland. Those four fought for victory at Red Bulls Salute in Zell am See-Kaprun shortly before the start of the 2023/24 Champions League season.
