Triathlon Your training for IRONMAN 70.3

With the combination of Lake Zell, the gentle Pinzgau grass mountains and the rugged Kitzsteinhorn, the region of Zell am See-Kaprun is made for triathletes. Here, swimming, cycling and running can be combined in the most beautiful way and in an impressive natural setting. The optimal conditions with a dense network of cycling and running routes also make the region the ideal venue for internationally renowned triathlon events such as IRONMAN 70.3.

Swimming in the lake, running and cycling

With an average water temperature of around 22 degrees in the summer months, Lake Zell not only invites you to swim in the lake, but also offers optimal training conditions for triathletes. In addition, there are the numerous road bike tours, which are ideally suited for basic and interval training. These routes lead around the Grossglockner, the Hochkönig or into neighbouring Tyrol, and reward every effort with impressive views. This also applies to the running routes: Targeted training is possible on asphalted roads, but also on paths through the forest as well as on forest and meadow trails.
