Cross-country skiing Cross-country ski trails

You glide away from everyday life on narrow cross-country skis, always following the trail, which leads you across meadows and beneath snow-covered trees. All you hear is silence and the sound of the skis in the snow: this atmosphere combined with the athletic training makes the Nordic sport of cross-country skiing so popular across all age groups. In Zell am See-Kaprun and the entire region, a total of 107 kilometres of cross-country ski tracks offers great variety. From flat trails at the bottom of the valley, which are ideal for beginners, to challenging tracks - there are guaranteed trails to suit skaters and classic cross-country skiers alike.
