Autumn stands for change, for the transition from the abundance of summer to the calm of winter. The days are getting shorter and, after the hot summer months, the air is already pleasantly crisp. Nature and Zell am See-Kaprun display once more a colourful spectacle full of life when exciting new events celebrate this time of year in all its facets. From culinary highlights, such as the game week, to the family festival and guided hikes - autumn in Zell am See-Kaprun promises unforgettable experiences.
"Wüd am See" - The Zeller "Gstanzl"-Singing Evening
A "Gstanzl" is a traditional, often improvised folk verse from the Alpine region, known for its humorous rhymes, quick wit and playful remarks.
On 12 September, the "Zeller Gstanzlsingen" will take place at Pinzga Bräu am See, starting at 5 pm. This is a unique opportunity to experience some of the best-known performers of this tradition live.
Bavarian Gstanzl queen Renate Maier as well as Weber Bene and Josef “Bäff” Piendl are among the most renowned Gstanzl performers in the Alpine region. Quick-witted verses, spontaneous rhymes and plenty of humour promise an evening of lively entertainment, accompanied by seasonal autumn specialities.
Places are limited and table reservations are required.
