Magic Lake Show 14 May - 15 October 2026

The water moves to the beat of the music, laser and light installations illuminate the evening sky: in the summer season from 14 May to 15 October 2026, Lake Zell becomes the stage for the Magic Lake Show every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. This water show for the whole family is a magical combination of water, light, music and laser, and turns your evening walk into an experience.

Your evening programme in summer

The Magic Lake Show takes place near Elisabethpark on the Esplanade in the centre of Zell am See. The choreographed show lasts about 20 minutes each time. Admission is free.

The themes of the 2026 shows will be announced soon.

Daily water shows with music

In addition to the evening shows, daytime shows with music and water will take place every day from 14 May to 15 October 2026 between 1 pm and 6 pm (on the hour). Admission is free.

  • Every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday from 14 May to 15 October 2026 with different themes and music

  • Evening shows with water, light, music and laser

  • Location: Elisabethpark at Lake Zell

  • Starting time:

    • Until September always 9.30 pm
    • From September always 9 pm

  • Themes 2026 will follow.

  • Perfect experience for an evening out

  • Admission is free.

  • From 14.05.2026, additional water shows during the day, every hour on the hour from 1 pm to 6 pm (free entry)

  • The show will take place in almost any weather (except in the event of thunderstorms and strong winds - cancellation on site if necessary).

  • From mid-June to the end of August: Every Sunday summer concert of the Bürgermusik at 8 pm in the Elisabethpark/music pavilion (from the beginning of July to the end of August additionally on Thursdays)

From June to August, the summer concerts of the Bürgermusik Zell am See will take place on Sundays at 8 pm. From the beginning of July to the end of August there are also additional concerts every Thursday at 8 pm. Enjoy an hour of sonorous brass music before the Magic Lake Show starts. (Info: In the event of bad weather, the concert will be canceled on site.)
