Guided family hike Kitzsteinhorn

After ascending together to the summit station on 3,029 m and some sliding fun in the glacier snow in the ICE ARENA, the hike starts at the Alpincenter on 2,450 m. The trail holds insights to the varied high-alpine flora and fauna as well as spectacular views all the way down to the valley. The end of the trail is the Langwiedboden on 1,976 m. From here, the cable car brings everyone back down to the Kitzsteinhorn valley station.

• When: on Thursday, from 6 July to 7 September 2024
• Meeting point: 10 am, at the Gletscherjet 1 / Panoramabahn valley station (Kesselfallstrasse 60, 5710 Kaprun)
• Duration: approx. 4-5 hours (approx. 2h walking time)
• Price: Free of charge (lift ticket not included)
• Equipment: warm clothing, sturdy shoes, sunglasses and sunscreen, rainwear, something to drink
