Catholic Church Schüttdorf

The Zell district of Schüttdorf developed into an expanding residential area in the 50s and 60s of the 20th century. The need to create a separate parish center for this was soon recognized.

In 1964 the construction of the church began. The new church was consecrated in 1967. Characteristic of the interior of the modern church are the wide chancel with the bronze tabernacle, the four wooden reliefs and the group of crosses.

The Virgin Mary statue "Maria am Weg" is located in the Marienkapelle. The patron saint of the parish church is St. Pope Pius X.
