Melodies played by brass bands, traditional music groups, folk dances & Schuhplattler
“Two side steps, then feet together again“ - Do you know these dance steps? It’s the Boarische (Bavarian polka), one of many folk dances you can admire at the Zell Edelweisen. The folk-dance groups perform figure dances, traditional waltzes, the Boarische and of course the Schuhplattler. The many musicians provide variety with their wide range of traditional instruments; some of them you might even be able to try yourself. If all this excitement and joining in makes you hungry, then there are of course some really delicious treats. Culinary specialities like farmhouse bread topped with regional delicacies are served on site.
Fantastic supporting programme for children and adults
Fun and games can also be enjoyed in front of the Beach Club. Children and adults can try a wide range of funny games. Do you know horseshoe throwing, curling, farmer’s golf or have you ever milked a cow? All these alpine games can be tried free of charge. And who knows, you may even win a small prize, provided you are the fastest milker and the best at farmer’s golf.
