Alpine Delight trail "mountain" from Schmittenhöhe into the valley
AreitLounge | Schmittenhöhe
Enjoy Slow Food dishes from the region with a spectacular view. The AreitLounge is located directly at the upper terminus of the areitXpress. Enjoyment and chilling with cool music and the best service take centre stage here.
An exclusive, fine range of top-quality food is served, and chef Raimund Knautz and his team create traditional but also innovative dishes with regional products in an imaginative yet simple way. Matching wines - here, too, the focus is on products from Austrian wineries - are served by the glass from the AreitAlm wine cellar.

Kraftwerk restaurant & winebar
If you want to get the taste of SalzburgerLand, then the Kraftwerk is the right place for you: with a 5-course menu, in which each of the main products comes from the Salzburg regions, a regional, partly local as well as seasonal range of dishes is created.
Most of the products used in the dishes come from the province of Salzburg. The majority of the meat and milk used comes from the restaurant's own organic farm, cider and honey cider come directly from the organic farm. A selection of over 1000 different wines from Austria and around the world complements the menu.

Alpine Delight Trail "Lake" Around Lake Zell
Restaurant "Der Seewirt"
Edible fish from Lake Zell, such as whitefishes, pike or zander, as well as from various fish farms in the immediate vicinity are naturally part of the identity of the Seewirt, but game from local hunters is also frequently on the menu.
The Seewirt can also rely on a network of mushroom, berry and herb pickers who supply seasonal treasures from the forest. Even when it comes to cheese, the Seewirt is well positioned: Pinzgau grey cheese and alpine cheese come from Hans Gruber of the Tödling Alm on the nearby Hundsstein. Niki Lang gets refined soft and hard cheeses from the fine spirit distiller Siegfried Herzog.

Speisenmeisterei Thumersbach
The regional fish is sourced from Toni Grundner in Leogang. The organic beef comes from the province of Salzburg and is dry-aged in the meat maturing cabinets for several weeks. A tasty beef tartar with oven-warm focaccia (70% water & 48 hours resting time) delights the hiker's heart at lunchtime on the shaded terrace!
The varying evening menus range from Vitello Tonnato (organic suckling calf from the region) and variations of Leogang salmon trout with beetroot to filet of May roebuck with vineyard peach & specially cultivated olive herb from our herb garden. A homemade curd cheese and strawberry soufflé with home-grown strawberries from the kitchen garden complements the menu!
