Red Bull X-Alps 15 - 27 June 2025
At Red Bull X-Alps, the world's toughest adventure race, the 35 athletes push themselves to the limit: the extreme athletes cover a distance of 1,283 kilometres across the Alps by foot and paraglider until they finally land on a platform on Lake Zell. This year, the race starts on 15 June 2025 in Kitzbühel - Kirchberg in Austria, passes 16 Turnpoints in Italy, Switzerland, France, Germany and Austria and ends in Zell am See-Kaprun.
This summer, the participants of Red Bull X-Alps will once again be on the course for a maximum of 12 days, fighting their way from Turnpoint to Turnpoint in the most difficult alpine terrain. After starting on 15 June 2025, in Kitzbühel-Kirchberg, the race continues south into the Dolomites. After several Turnpoints in Italy, the route continues into Switzerland – including St. Moritz – and into France, where it reaches Mont Blanc. From there, the route continues east through Switzerland, Austria, and Germany to the Zugspitze, before returning to Austria to Zell am See-Kaprun: The race finishes here, and the participants have to arrive on a landing platform in Lake Zell after a final flight from the Schmittenhöhe.
