TriZell: International Triathlon Zell am See-Kaprun 27 - 28 June 2026

1.5 kilometres swimming, 40 kilometres cycling and 10 kilometres running: These are the key data for the international TriZell: International Triathlon Zell am See-Kaprun. Attracting endurance athletes and ambitious triathletes to Lake Zell every year, this is already the 38th edition of the sports event in Zell am See-Kaprun.

Start at the lido in Thumersbach

The new start and finish area is located in and around the lido in Thumersbach. From here you have a wonderful view of the centre of Zell am See, the Schmittenhöhe and the striking Kitzsteinhorn during your warm-up and training.

You complete the 1.5 kilometre-swim in the crystal-clear water of the Lake Zell. The bike loop leads from Zell am See via Bruck an der Großglocknerstraße to Kaprun and back to the transition area in Thumersbach. Finally, the running track awaits: here you will be running along the shore of the lake.

Swim & Run: Aquathlon

The aquathlon is a dynamic endurance sport competition that combines swimming and running. Participants start with a swim, followed by a run that requires both endurance and versatility. This mix of two disciplines offers an exciting challenge for athletes of all levels and ensures a varied race.

Sprint:
- 750 metres swimming, 20 kilometres cycling, 5 kilometres running
- Maximum 150 participants
- Start: Sunday, 28 June 2026, from 8.40 am
Swimming event:
- 750 or 1,500 metre-swim
- Maximum 100 participants
- Start: Saturday, 27 June 2026, 3 pm

Aquathlon:
- 1000 metres swimming
- 5 kilometres running
- Maximum 250 participants
- Start: Saturday, 27 June 2026, from 7.30 am (in different classes)
Kids Aquathlon:
- 25 - 750 metres swimming (depending on age class)
- 250 metres - 3 kilometres running (depending on age class)
- Maximum 200 participants
