Tour description
Steep climb, beautiful views and alpine atmosphere – from Schüttdorf up to Plettsauberg and the reservoir at Plettsaukopf.
Starting at the Nikolaus-Gassner-Promenade in Schüttdorf, the Seespitz-Zaunlückensteig trail initially climbs steeply along a farm track, then continues uphill along a narrow hiking trail. Passing farms and the Entwies Hof, you then reach the circular hiking trail at Plettsaukopf.

Route description:
The Seespitz-Zaunlücken Climb branches off shortly after the start of the Nikolaus Gassner Promenade, above the Seespitz (Schüttdorf) tunnel exit. First uphill on a wide, steep agricultural road, which turns into a narrow hiking trail further up. After approx. 40 minutes, you reach the Entwies Hof. Here the hiking trail runs a short distance along the Keilberg asphalted agricultural road to Hubgut. About 300 metres further on, the Seespitz-Zaunlücken Climb branches off to the right and runs steeply uphill. After about 50 minutes, you reach the Plettsauberg circular hiking trail. Following this trail, it is a stone's throw to the cityXpress mountain station.
