Tour description

Three peaks, a magnificent panorama – a scenic tour from Mitterberg via Schwalbenwand, Schönwieskopf and Hundstein.

This varied hike from the Mitterberg mountain inn first leads along a wide forest road and then up a narrow forest path to the Schwalbenwand. The route continues over the panoramic ridge to the Schönwieskopf and finally to the Hundstein with the Statzerhaus at around 2,017 metres – one of the most beautiful panoramic mountains in Austria. The return route follows a forest path past the Rupertihaus and over the Hochschleipfgut back to the starting point at the Mitterberghof. An impressive tour for experienced hikers with fantastic views of the surrounding mountains.
