From the center of Zell am See, the trail leads past the Ebenbergalm on hiking trail no. 50 to the cityXpress mountain station. From there, trail no. 55 continues through the quiet forest until a final steep section leads up to the forest road. At the top, you are rewarded with a truly spine-tingling moment: the Kitzsteinhorn and the surrounding mountains are impressively reflected in the calm waters of the Plettsaukopf reservoir.
