The Schlossloipe trail in the Kaprun Moor is a fantastic circuit for cross-country skiing enthusiasts of all abilities and is groomed for both classic and skating styles. Are you still building up your endurance? Then the five kilometre trail along the Salzach river is a recommended option. You only have to climb a few metres in altitude and can even enjoy some sightseeing thanks to the view of the medieval Kaprun Castle. Once you reach the Salzach bridge, cross-country skiers with plenty of stamina can extend their trip and join the Bruck trail or the golf course trail. Would you rather finish the circuit at a leisurely pace? Then the trail along the Salzach river will take you back to the starting point via Filzmoos.
