This moderately difficult circular tour starts in the heart of Kaprun and leads via the picturesque Klammsee lake up to the impressive Glocknerblick viewpoint. There you can enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains – perfect for a short break or a stop at the hut. The return route takes you leisurely along the Maiskogelweg trail through shady forests back to the town centre.

From the Kaprun tourist Information take Schulstrasse in the direction to Klammsee (path no 17). At the Klammsee, turn right towards "Schneckenreith" (path no 17a) and follow the Jetzbachastensteig no 29 to the Glocknerblick. The hut invites you to stop and you should definitely enjoy the view. You return to the village via the Maiskogelweg no 35.
