Moderately difficult round tour on Kaprun's local mountain with numerous refreshment stops.
Start directly in Kaprun at Schaufelbergstraße.At numerous farms and mountain inns it leads uphill to Kaprun's local mountain Maiskogel.

Route description:
From Kaprun Center along the Tauern cylce path, bhind the supermarket ADEG Neumair throught the underpass tunnel (or along the Sigmund Thun Straße) and then immediately right up along the Schaufelbergstraße past the Unteraigen and towards the Stangerbauer mountain inn. Then turn right to the Saulochalm. From there it is not far to the Maiskogelbahn mountain station. From here you can either go to the Unterbergalm or the Glocknerblick. Although the Glocknerblick mountain inn is even more challenging. Then downhill via the Maiskogelalm and Stangerbauer back to Kaprun.
