Tour description
ATTENTION: From about halfway along, the section on the right-hand side (marked with an ‘x’ on the map from start to finish) is closed. Please keep to the left.
Moderately difficult round tour on Kaprun's local mountain with numerous refreshment stops.
From Kaprun Center along the Tauern cylce path, bhind the supermarket ADEG Neumair throught the underpass tunnel (or along the Sigmund Thun Straße) and then immediately right up along the Schaufelbergstraße past the Unteraigen and towards the Stangerbauer mountain inn. Then turn right to the Saulochalm. From there it is not far to the Maiskogelbahn mountain station. From here you can either go to the Unterbergalm or the Glocknerblick. Although the Glocknerblick mountain inn is even more challenging. Then downhill via the Maiskogel Alm Ranch and the mountain inn Stangerbauer back to Kaprun.
