Panorama tour around the world-famous Lake Zell
On the Seepromenade and the Uferstraße you have the possibility to go around Lake Zell. The wesern part of the promenade is straight along the lake, the eastern part leads along the Seeuferstraße. From the center of Zell am See you go on the Seepromenate in nothern direction to the Nordufer. Here you can take a break at Schloss Prielau with a small chapel built in 1730. On the track you have a great view on the Hohen Tauern mountains and on the Kitzsteinhorn glacier. Via Thumersbach and the preserve area in Schüttdorf you will get back to your starting point in Zell am See.track sign: 17K

From Zell am See, you cycle along the Seepromenade in direction of the north shore. At Prielau Castle, visit the idyllic Trinity Chapel dating from 1370 before returning to the lakeshore. The route now heads south via the district of Thumersbach, where you should spare some time for the beautiful nature and landscape conservation area “Zeller See Südufer” with the Wiesen-König-Reich theme trail, which is well worth seeing. From here, you return to the centre of Zell am See.
