From the centre of Zell am See, the route follows the lake promenade towards the north shore, where it is worth visiting Prielau Castle with its idyllic Trinity Chapel. The route then continues directly along the clear lake shore, offering magnificent views of the surrounding Hohe Tauern mountains and the Kitzsteinhorn glacier. Via Thumersbach, the route leads through the nature and landscape conservation area on the southern shore of Lake Zell, including the Wiesen-König-Reich themed trail. Numerous opportunities for breaks make this circular tour a particularly enjoyable experience before returning to the centre of Zell am See.
