Tour description
This leisurely hike leads along an idyllic forest road from the end of the Thumersbach Valley to the cosy Enzianhütte hut through shady woods.
Hiking trail no. 85 leads from the end of the Thumersbach valley along a well-maintained forest road through picturesque woodland to the Enzianhütte hut. The route connects the end of the valley with the Thumersbach Ridge Trail (No. 84) and offers pleasant, easy hiking conditions. For the return trip, you can either take the same route back or hike back to Thumersbach via the beautiful Erlbergweg trail in about 1 to 1.5 hours.
