A short walk combining nature and views – directly above Kaprun.
Behind the Waidmannsheil Hotel, a picturesque walking trail begins, leading through Hauserdörfl and along Eßreithweg into the rolling hills above Kaprun. A narrow path winds its way through a ditch, along green meadows and finally meets a wider forest path. Here, hiking enthusiasts have a choice: either continue on to the Lechnerberg farm track or return to the town centre via the Lechnerbrücke bridge along the Imbach stream. A short, varied circular route – ideal for a short break in nature.

Behind the "Waidmannsheil" hotel, a narrow road leads to Hauserdörfl.
After approx. 100 m, turn left into the Eßreith Trail.
At the bend below Eßreith, a narrow trail branches off to the right, which first follows a ditch, then continues uphill along a meadow, and finally meets a slightly wider trail. There are two options here: 1. left to the Lechnerberg agricultural road. 2. downhill to the Lechnerbrücke bridge. To the right or left along the Imbach back to the village centre.
