31 | Alpenhaus Kesselfall - Mooserboden trail Hiking tours
Tour description
Challenging mountain hike from Kesselfall to the high mountain reservoirs of Kaprun – rewarded with spectacular Alpine scenery!
This challenging hike leads from Kesselfall up to the high mountain reservoirs of Kaprun, climbing almost 1,000 metres in altitude. The trail initially runs through shady forest, then continues along the old mountain road to high alpine terrain. Sure-footedness and a head for heights are essential. Passing the Limberg dam, along the Limberg reservoir and via the Fürthermoaralm, you finally reach the Mooserboden. Two places to stop for refreshments provide sustenance along the way. The return journey to the valley is easy by bus and Europe's largest open inclined lift.
