As soon as the lights of the Kaprun night trail come on, the cross-country ski trail resembles a mystical torchlight procession through the darkness. Here you can leave your tracks in the snow free of charge until 9 p.m. and enjoy the evening atmosphere in the glow of the lights.
For all night owls, the night-time cross-country ski trail in Kaprun is a very special experience. Here, you can enjoy the silence of the night on a 2.8-kilometre-long trail until 9 p.m. and glide through the snow in the moonlight. The starting point at the Kaprun Cross-Country Ski Centre opens the circuit with an archway. From there, atmospheric lights illuminate the darkness: during the tour, pay special attention to Kaprun Castle, which shines in a unique light atmosphere! If you are a guest at the Tauern Spa Hotel or are already on the Tauern Spa Trail, you can also join the night trail at the Sporthotel via a specially lit section.
