The Brunnwiesenloipe in Kaprun is a 2-kilometre-long, idyllic cross-country skiing circuit in the picturesque surroundings of Kaprun and is ideal for a short workout. Particularly beautiful: when you start at the cross-country skiing centre, the medieval castle of the mountain town greets you from afar.
If you have just started cross-country skiing, the Brunnwiesenloipe in Kaprun is an ideal circuit for training your endurance and technique. Once you arrive at the Kaprun Cross-Country Ski Centre, lace up your cross-country skis and start your trail along the Schlossloipe towards the east. Once you reach the trail loop, follow trail marker no. 2 back to the starting point. There are no elevation gains on this two-kilometre trail, making it ideal for beginners and novices to Nordic winter sports. Along the way, you can enjoy some cultural attractions and frequent views of Kaprun Castle.
