Tour description
Short circular walk with history: the Bürgkogel offers great views and exciting insights into Kaprun's earliest settlement.
From Klammweg, the Bürgkogelsteig trail winds its way through shady mixed forest up to the viewpoint on the Bürgkogel. At the top, you will not only be rewarded with impressive views of the Kaprun Valley, but also traces of ancient settlements along the Natural History Trail. The descent is via the east or south-west side back to the starting point.
