Idyllic hike starting at Kaprun Castle with magnificent views, through forests and meadows to Mayreinöden and back via the Tauern Cycle Path.
This varied tour starts at Kaprun Castle and initially leads uphill along the Guggenhöhenweg trail no. 30 through a beautiful forest to a spring. There, the Murlehenweg trail begins on the left, leading through meadows and idyllic woodland down to Mayreinöden. From here, the route continues to the Salzach bridge and then turns left onto the Tauern Cycle Path for a leisurely ride back to Kaprun.
