The Schmittenhöhe, Zell's local mountain, is a real all-rounder in winter: here, beginners on skis feel just as comfortable as passionate piste pros, families and returning skiers. A total of 77 kilometres of pistes and perfectly groomed downhill runs await you here.Those who want to give their skis a break will also find marked winter hiking trails on the Pinzgau adventure mountain. Starting from January snowshoe tours take place every friday. The numerous restaurants on the mountain are ideal for a stop in between. Enjoy the sun and the spectacular panorama: from the Schmittenhöhe you can see Lake Zell, the Kitzsteinhorn glacier and more than 30 three-thousand-metre-high peaks.
