The Dürlinger family, the owners of the Unterbergalm, has been passing on the secret of their hospitality and time-tested cooking recipes from one generation to the next for almost 200 years now. Thus, the Unterbergalm enchants its guests with traditional favourite dishes every summer time and again.
At the Unterbergalm, the enjoyment of homegrown and homemade products has been passed down from generation to generation. The Dürlinger family has been running the 214-hectare alpine pasture since 1830, and welcomes regulars and new visitors every summer: every glass of alpine milk, every jug of elderberry juice and every delicacy is made with a lot of love and culinary skill. You can enjoy all this during a visit. The alpine pasture is easily accessible for everyone via a forest road from the upper terminus of the MK Maiskogel cable car. Travelling light is still recommended though: you surely want to take some of the alpine farm’s delicacies home with you!
