On the idyllic Tödlingalm at the foot of the Hundstein, you can enjoy the multiple award-winning Pinzgau cheese from the alpine pasture's own cheese dairy: A hearty Brettljause snack platter with excellent alpine, goat or mountain cheese as well as homemade alpine butter and bread is served here.
The Tödlingalm is located at around 1,800 metres above sea level at the foot of the Hundstein and offers an impressive view of the surrounding mountain peaks.
Apart from the panoramic view, there is more that makes this alpine pasture a popular destination: The Tödlingalm is famous for its cheese specialities.
Hans Gruber has developed his very own cheese philosophy here and has already received several awards for his efforts:
The original Pinzgau cheese is particularly successful, but the other specialities are also definitely worth a try. In addition to the classic mountain cheese, the farm's own cheese dairy also offers a Tilsiter-style cheese, various specialities with herbs and spices, goat cheese, fresh alpine butter and high-quality meat products.
