The Sonnkogel Restaurant on the Schmittenhöhe is the first address for anyone who wants to sample Pinzgau cuisine, in summer and winter: Using local ingredients and fresh herbs, unique creations are prepared and served here.
The Sonnkogel restaurant is located directly at the cable car station Sonnkogelbahn. Here you can enjoy a break between two downhill runs in winter or a stopover during a hike in summer: After all, the Sonnkogel restaurant serves regional Pinzgau and Austrian cuisine with a special twist. From wild herb lemonade to game specialities or the Alm Gröstl from the pan, special creations made from local products and local herbs are served in a quaint ambience at this mountain inn. And while the grown-ups enjoy sampling the menu or sunbathe on the terrace, children can let off steam in the playground.
