Salzburger Platz in the centre of Kaprun is a small park with low traffic - perfect for a short break. While you relax on a wooden bench, you can admire the impressive stone fountain, a work of art by Anton Thuswaldner from 1980.
Would you like to take a short break from sightseeing in Kaprun? Then the centrally located Salzburger Platz is the perfect place to find peace and quiet. Following a phase of extensive redesign, the square now offers comfortable wooden benches surrounded by well-tended green spaces and trees. The centrepiece of the square is a stone fountain, which was created in 1980 by Kaprun artist Anton Thuswaldner, and still shapes the image of the square. Here you can drink a coffee in the warming sun, enjoy a snack in fresh air or relax on a bench with a newspaper and your favourite book.
