Protestant Church Zell am See-Kaprun

The Church of the Resurrection was planned by Architect DI Kurt Glondy from Zell am See. Professor Gustav Resatz was responsible for the artistic design. The laying of the foundation stone took place on June 23, 1957 and the inauguration on November 9, 1958. The name: "The Risen One is the Lord of history - he also raised a Protestant community in Pinzgau again...." said a Swedish pastor at the laying of the foundation stone - that's how the name was found. The inscription above the entrance reminds us : “I am the resurrection and the life,” John 11:25
