At Pinzga Bräu am See, hops and malt come together to create a masterpiece of the Austrian art of brewing: The Zell am See house brewery has been serving classic unfiltered beers and seasonal special brews at the brewhouse and the Bräu restaurant of the Grand Hotel since 2020.
Zell am See has a new house brewery that opened in autumn 2020. The brewery produces an excellent, unfiltered beer exclusively from regional hops and barley malt. Master brewer and beer sommelier Valentin Klien convinces his guests with classic beer varieties as well as seasonal special brews such as the strong Christmas bock, the amber Bernstein autumn beer or the hoppy summer low-alcohol beer. During a visit to the brewery's cosy chestnut garden or the Grand Hotel's quaint Bräu restaurant, you can enjoy a Pinzgauer fresh from the tap in a stoneware mug to match the regional cuisine. For those interested in beer, the brewer also offers sampling sessions and guided tours of the brewery.
