Museum Vogtturm Zell am See

One of the region's most interesting buildings in terms of history is situated in the heart of Zell am See: The Vogtturm. Six storeys high, the centuries-old tower rises into the sky and is an eye-catcher even from the outside. Inside, you will be captivated by an extensive collection. Here you can discover regional and local history and culture, be enchanted by romantic paintings and get inspired by the pioneering spirit of the people of Zell am See. The exhibitions are also designed for children.

Special Exhibition:
"Porsche Design" and "The Photographers of Zell am See" are shining a spotlight on local pioneers. The new special exhibition "Heroic Drama and Heroic Stories" shines a light on the "heroes" of the Peasants Wars of 1525–1526, as well as heroes and heroines from later centuries. An avatar is on hand to answer visitors questions.
