The Pinzgauer Lokalbahn, one of the most attractive narrow-gauge railways in Austria, travels through one of the most charming landscapes in the Alps The Pinzgauer Lokalbahn runs from Zell am See along the Salzach into the Hohe Tauern National Park to Krimml.

The Pinzgauer Lokalbahn, also known as the Pinzgaubahn or Krimmler Bahn, is a narrow-gauge railway with a track width of 760 millimeters in the Austrian state of Salzburg. The former ÖBB line, which has been owned by the State of Salzburg since July 1, 2008, is operated by Salzburg AG under the name SLB Pinzgauer Lokalbahn. It runs almost 53 kilometers in length in the valley of the Salzach between Zell am See and Vorderkrimml through the high mountain region of the Salzburg Pinzgau.
