Klettersteigarena Höhenburg

Mooser-Mandl, Drossen-Hex and Limberg-Zwerg: Three via ferrata routes with varying levels of difficulty have been installed in the rock of the Höhenburg. The "Limberg-Zwerg" climbing route even integrates the well-preserved iron ladder of the former mountaineering school. Along this simple fixed-rope route, the key section "Zwergenleiter" ("dwarf ladder") with a difficulty level of C is waiting to be overcome.

All three routes end at the summit of the Höhenburg, which towers up between the Drossen and Mooser dams. The climbing routes in the high alpine environment with the high mountain reservoirs in the background are a unique setting for athletes and recreation seekers alike. The descent back to the dam follows the comfortable Höhenburg hiking trail.
