Im Winter sind zwar die beeindruckenden Stauseen für Besucher nicht zu erreichen, dafür stehen die Türen vom VERBUND-Infozentrum im Kraftwerk Kaprun-Hauptstufe das ganze Jahr über offen.

Using modern interactive technology, you can find out everything you need to know about VERBUND, Austria's leading electricity company, and the interplay between nature and technology.

From a gallery you can experience what is happening in the machine hall of the Kaprun main stage power plant up close. The exhibition is designed in two languages. A cinema room shows short films on the subject of electricity generation from hydropower, the myth of Kaprun, history and technology.
