Ebenmattenhütte - Fürthermoaralm 1.803 m
Open again in summer 2026.
Variable rest days in bad weather.
Located between the high mountain reservoirs Mooserboden and Wasserfallboden is an alpine pasture whose unique history dates back to the 17th century: the Fürthermoaralm. During a visit, you can delve into the past at the alpine pasture's museum and enjoy the homemade creations from the kitchen.
OUR ALMs SPECIALITIES:
Idyllically situated between the Mooser and Wasserfallboden reservoirs, the Alm in the Kaprun valley is surrounded by numerous 3,000-meter peaks in the Glockner area. The Fürthermoar Alm pampers its guests with homemade delicacies. For preparation, products from the in-house organic farm are used, among others. Kaiserschmarrn, cheese dumplings, salads, herbal syrups, and juices, as well as the unique Alm snack, are part of the offer. Something special is the fresh mountain milk and buttermilk directly from the cow. Visiting the reservoirs, as well as a children's playground and petting animals, makes your day at the Alm unforgettable. Tip: Overnight stay in our hideaways!
Location / Altitude: Kaprun / 1803m
how to reach us:
