The Grainer family now invites you to enjoy hearty cuisine in a quaint alpine ambience where once a bakery used to prepare sweet delicacies a hundred years ago. One thing should be mentioned straightaway: The steak on a hot stone or the suckling pig fillet are not the only specialities on the menu!
The Dorfstadl restaurant - 35 years of hospitality in a homely and quaint atmosphere. Christoph and Claudia Grainer welcome their guests with culinary highlights of the Pinzgau region in the middle of the Kaprun Valley all year round. Take a seat next to the tiled stove and marvel at the numerous exhibits from times gone by. Old milk jugs, antique kitchen utensils and coffee grinders adorn the hundred-year-old wooden walls of the restaurant. Hearty dishes are on the menu where once a bakery made sweet delicacies: Today’s chef prefers to serve juicy steaks from the hot stone or dishes of venison, deer or lamb.
