Bergrestaurant Glockneralm

In summer 2023, the old Glocknerhaus was said goodbye and was completely demolished. The new owners, the Wienerroither family from Carinthia, built a large and modern mountain restaurant at the same place. The concept of the new hut is a healthy mix of Carinthia and Salzburg. With a large sun terrace, umbrella and cozy lounge inside the hut, we have 600 seats with a fantastic view over the mountains all the way to the Großglockner and the Kitzsteinhorn! Guests can look forward to Austrian-Mediterranean cuisine. A highlight is certainly the pizza from the wood-fired oven. The hut's sweet specialty is and remains the homemade, caramelized Kaiserschmarrn!
