In winter as in summer, the areitXpress is the first choice for all mountain enthusiasts who want to quickly get from the Zeller district of Schüttdorf up to the Schmittenhöhe. In just seven minutes, the modern cable car takes you up to 1,400 meters above sea level. In winter, you can take Areitbahn II or III even further up. At the mountain station of Areitbahn III, you'll find a sports shop and a ski school in winter. In summer, the areitXpress is a convenient starting point for hiking in the Schmittenhöhe area: From the mountain station, the adventure trail "Schmidolins Feuertaufe" begins, and you can reach the "E-Motocross Park" as well as the "Areit 1400" exhibition. There's also something for a small snack: You can take a break in the Areitlounge or Areitalm!
