The best of the best trail and mountain runners meet in the Zell am See-Kaprun region from 23 to 26 July 2026. To do what? To run, of course. But they aren't running just anywhere. In fact, the run a route around Austria's highest-situated mountain, the Großglockner, into the fascinating world of the Hohe Tauern National Park. The route is 110 km long, crosses more than 6.500 altitude metres, leads past 14 glaciers and through 3 federal states and past 300 three thousand metres high peaks. With a selection of 5 different competitions, the Grossglockner Ultra Trail is again one of the Alps' top trail running events in 2026.
