How to

  1. Buying a smartphone ticket in the app

    You can buy your tickets in the shop as usual. In addition, you will now also find "Smartphone ticket" under the ticket type.
    Please note: Not every smartphone can be converted into a ticket, this is due to technical reasons with regard to the manufacturer. Please check the compatibility of your mobile phone via the "Device check".

  2. Granting authorisations

    Before the smartphone ticket works, check in the app under your Profile > Settings > Permissions whether the necessary authorisations have been granted.

  3. Switching on & activating Bluetooth

    To use the smartphone ticket, the Zell am See-Kaprun App requires access to your mobile phone’s Bluetooth function, which must be switched on.

  4. Switching on & activating location

    Your location is required, thus the correct turnstile opens.

  5. Allowing notifications

    In order for the app to communicate with you during use, we ask you to allow notifications.

  6. Switching off the energy-saving mode

    To use the smartphone ticket, the energy-saving mode must be deactivated.

  7. Through the turnstile

    As soon as the ticket is activated, you can lock the screen (leave the app open) and stow your mobile phone in your left jacket pocket. Now you are ready to go!
