Vötter's Oldtimer Museum

It is not just motorists who will be tempted by Vötter's 'Fahrzeugmuseum'. The most beautiful vintage cars from the 50s through to the 70s as well as motorbikes and rather comical vehicles are lined up right there. Do you still remember the Messerschmitt?

Kaprun Museum

The core of the 400 year old Steiner farm house was not used for several years and was in danger of dereliction. The building was then bought by the Kaprun municipal council and listed as a site of historical interest. Its locations on the Kirchbichl is very special, as other historic strucutres surround the church.

Vogtturm Zell am See

Here you can browse through diligently gathered evidence of the history of Zell. Interesting insights into regional history and into the lives of its former inhabitants are guaranteed. At the 'Vogtsaal', exhibitions take place on a regular basis.

Europe's highest waterfalls: Krimmler Wasserfälle

With their impressive waterfall drop of 380 m the Krimml Waterfalls are the fifth highest waterfalls in the world. Enjoy the refreshing mizzle and the impressive power of the water amidst the gorgeous scenery of the Hohe Tauern National Park.

Großglockner High Alpine Road

The most famous alpine road leads you into the heart of the Hohe Tauern National Park, to the highest mountain in Austria, the Grossglockner (3,798m) and its glacier, the Pasterze. You will have a driving and nature experience of a special kind on 48 kilometres of high alpine road with 36 bends, and an altitude ascent to 2,504 metres! 

Swarovski Crystal Worlds

André Heller has created an underground theme world featuring crystals. Magic caves and halls are protected by a large maze, shaped in the form of a hand, and by the water-spouting head of a watchful botanical giant.

Hallein Salt Mine

Fun, adventure and mystical moments await you in this ancient realm of “White Gold”. The galleries of the salt mine in the Dürrnberg near Hallein were the source of Salzburg’s wealth. Visitors hop aboard the mine train for a comfortable, fun-filled ride into the center of the mountain, where two long miners’ slides take them down to a subterranean salt lake, site of a new multi-media show that transports them into a magical world of light and sound. They follow in the footsteps of the Ancient Celts, who had been mining salt here since 400 B.C., and discover the mysterious world of the miners themselves who, with their bare hands, dug kilometers-long labyrinths deep into the mountain. Today’s visitors, big and small, can look forward to adventure, fascinating insights and all kinds of fun during the tour.  And it doesn’t matter at all whether it is hot or rainy outside.

Mozart Town Salzburg

It is hard to outplay Salzburg: next to innumerable museums, the birthplace of Mozart and Fortress Hohensalzburg are special treats, indeed. It is also well-worth paying a visit to Stiegl's Brauwelt, which is a brewery, and to go to the 'Tiergarten'.
