EHC Red Bull München Cooperation

The cooperation between the German top ice hockey club Red Bull München from Munich and the Zell am See-Kaprun region has been in place since winter 2022/23.

Red Bull Ice Hockey Club

Founded in 1998, the club managed to rise from the lowest to the highest German division, the German Ice Hockey League, in just twelve years. On 1 May 2013, Red Bull became the sole shareholder, and the club has operated under the name EHC Red Bull München since then. The 2015/16 season marked the most successful era in the club's eventful history to date: the team celebrated winning its first German championship on 22 April 2016. The Red Bulls also won the title in 2017 and 2018 and most recently in the 2022/23 season. In 2019, Red Bull München became the first and, so far, only German team to reach the final of the Champions League. The club is scheduled to move from the venerable Olympia Stadium to the new SAP Garden, which will also be home to the club's offices in the future, in autumn 2024.

Red Bulls Fan Ski Day

On 2 March 2024, the second EHC Red Bull Munich fan ski day took place on the Kitzsteinhorn, after the Schmittenhöhe was the venue for the first fan ski day last year: From Munich by bus to Zell am See-Kaprun and, in the sunshine, onto the glacier. The Kitzsteinhorn presented itself at its best with perfect piste conditions and we are already looking forward to the Fan Ski Day 2025.
