Schoberalm

Schober Alm, Bruckbergstraße 56, 5700 Zell am See

A stop for a break when hiking in summer or a well-deserved rest while skiing: The cosy Schober Alm is located in the middle of the Schmittenhöhe skiing and hiking area and offers favourite dishes such as Kaiserschmarren and Kaspressknödel (cheese dumplings) all year round.

The Schober Alm on the Schmittenhöhe is a popular meeting place for locals and guests in summer and winter: This is not surprising, after all, it's not just homemade specialities that tempt you here at 1,100 metres above sea level, but also the spacious sun terrace. The menu features down-to-earth Austrian cuisine with all the classics - from Kaiserschmarren to grilled dishes. At the weekend, you can even pre-order your imperial (sunrise) breakfast, freshly caught trout and char, chicken or tasty ribs at the Schober Alm. This alpine hut is located directly in the Schmittenhöhe skiing and hiking area and can be reached by ski in winter. In summer, clearly marked hiking trails or roads for cars lead you to the Schober Alm.
