Since 2009 the Kitzsteinhorn has a free-ride info base where freeriders receive helpful advice and learn everything they need to know about Alpine dangers. Nevertheless, personal responsibility remains important. The advanced information system was developed by a team of local experts. Its aim is to prepare freeriders for their deep powder adventures. Freeride fun on the Kitzsteinhorn in Zell am See-Kaprun
You will find a freeride info point at the start of each route. It offers information on the hillside’s condition and its dangerous areas. In addition, the info point features tips on skiing safely and ideal routes. Please note: the marked free-ride routes are not groomed. There are freeride camps too where you will learn all the necessary skills for even more freeride fun!
