Skiing in Zell am See-Kaprun on three multi-faceted mountains
Alongside the Schmittenhöhe with 77 kilometres and the Kitzsteinhorn with 41 kilometres of ski slopes, the Maiskogel family mountain with 20km of slopes also has excellent winter adventures in store. Professional skiers can enjoy steep slopes and spectacular descents on Schmittenhöhe or Kitzsteinhorn. But don't worry, there are a lot of easy slopes too. The Maiskogel and Schmittenhöhe are tailor made for the little guests. Zell am See-Kaprun also has challenges for thrill seekers. The Kitzsteinhorn is particularly popular among freeriders and freestyler. Off-piste tracks, powder and a huge fun park for all levels is guaranteed.
The ski shuttle transfers you from mountain to mountain swiftly - even free of charge if you hold a ski pass. So you are not a seasoned skier yet? Visit one of the numerous ski schools in Zell am See-Kaprun. The ski rental will supply you with adequate equipment.
The Power of Zehn: Skipass offer for kids and adolescents
The ski areas Kitzsteinhorn and Schmittenhöhe created a special offer for all children and adolescents . During the time from 3. December 2016 till 29. April 2017 kids in the age between 6 and 19 get their lift pass for 10 (=Zehn) Euros on Saturdays.
